There are good people around a certain individual attempting to seriously investigate ongoing matters, but disinformation and counterintelligence efforts are a significant problem. It's challenging for busy people in positions of power to discern truth from falsehood, necessitating trusted experts to thoroughly investigate complex issues.

One example involves a 1980s UFO incident where a craft seemingly malfunctioned, releasing radioactive waste, and initial reports suggested alien involvement. However, an Air Force investigator revealed the craft was non-human but piloted by humans experimenting with an unstable energy system. This illustrates a tendency to misrepresent events and the importance of firsthand sources.

Currently, a lack of legal and physical protections for whistleblowers is hindering progress. Despite a Senate bill passing to offer amnesty, provisions were removed in the House. There is a need for either congressional action or an executive order to protect those providing information, especially given instances of threats and even killings of individuals involved in these investigations. There are numerous high-value whistleblowers ready to come forward with information, but they require assurance of safety and immunity.
